FAQS
(1) How does an Evaporative Air Cooler work?
Evaporative Air Cooler cools the air by means of the evaporation of water. When water evaporates into the air, the result is a mixture of air and water molecules. This chemical change requires heat, thus energy or l atent heat is taken from the air molecules - dropping the actual temperature of the air.
(2)Whether the Air Cooler can be used in enclosed spaces or not?
It must be kept level and there must be water in the tank. The room should have doors and windows opened to allow free air flow. Best scenario is for the Air Cooler tobe placed near an open window from which the fresh air flows through the Air Cooler, which circulates the air, which then leaves via the door.
(3)What are the differences between air coolers and air conditions?
The Evaporative Air Cooler is not an air conditioner as it does not use a compressor or refrigerant gas. It should not be expected to cool to the same degree as a refrigerated air conditioner. It works best in hot and dry conditions.
